The Ninth Cheboksary Economic Forum “The Russian Regions – new growth points” was held in the capital of the Chuvash Republic

Also there were the reports of the foreign participants of the forum: Gabriel Di Bella – the Resident Representative of IMF in Russia, Stuart Lawson – the Executive Director, the Senior Advisor for financial institutions and government initiatives in Russia and the CIS, Ernst&Young.

The next part of the forum was presented by sessions, “round tables” and conferences on different topics including actual questions: “Creation and effective experience of regional, industrial clusters as an example of public private partnership”, “Secrets of the Russian companies within cooperation with the Asian and European partners”, Import substitution in industry: influence of government support for development of economic sectors”. Within the work of the forum investment attraction problems, innovation economy and technological entrepreneurship, small business support and prospects of the Russian industry in the period of import dependence were discussed.
